When is it time to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist?

If you can say “yes” to one or more of the following then you should strongly consider seeing a reproductive endocrinologist for an infertility evaluation:

  • Under 35 years old and have been trying to conceive for 9-12 months;
  • Over 35 years old and have been trying to conceive for 6 months or more;
  • If you have a history of pelvic infection;
  • Irregular cycles and have been unsuccessful at conceiving;
  • If you have moderate or severe endometriosis;
  • If you have had more than 3 cycles of stimulation with Clomid or Serophene;
  • If you have 3 or more unsuccessful attemps at artificial insemination;
  • If your partner has a poor semen analysis.
