How would you describe your work at Invitro Clinic “Sofia”?

My work, as chief embryologist at Invitro Clinic “Sofia”, is extremely responsible, but also inspiring. For me, it's not just a job — it's a vocation. Every day at Invitro Clinic “Sofia” we are part of one of the most personal and intimate moments in people's lives — the path to the creation of a child. The embryological laboratory is where science and the miracle of life meet, here life begins at the cellular level, but behind each cell lies someone's dream, someone's hope. We work with the latest technologies, but we never forget that before us are not just biological processes, but human destinies.

What is it like to make people's dreams come true?

To fulfill the dream of a child is something that is difficult to describe in words. This is the purest form of happiness. Every time I hear “we made it”, when I see tears of joy in the eyes of patients, I feel how deeply real and meaningful this profession is. We help people move through fear, doubt and long waits — and reach the embrace with the most precious gift of their lives. There's nothing more exciting than knowing you've been a part of this journey.

What is the greatest job satisfaction?

The greatest satisfaction comes when we get the news that the embryo transfer has been successful, when we get a picture of a newborn, when parents come with their baby and hold it with that glint in their eyes that says it all, when a dream has become a reality — then you remember why you are doing all this. These are moments when the world stops for a second and the heart is filled with quiet pride and gratitude. The satisfaction comes not only from the result, but from the trust that our families vote in their most vulnerable moment.

What distinguishes this work from any other?

The embryologist's work is unique — it stands at the crossroads between high technology and the purest human emotions. It's a job where you touch the miracle. Every day. Invisible to most people, but so real to us, from the first cell to the first cry. What makes it different is that it is built not only with science, but also with the heart. Not everyone has the chance to work with life itself—and in its most primitive, purest form. And we have it and we appreciate it deeply.
