How would you describe your work at Invitro Clinic Sofia?

As an embryologist, in vitro clinic “Sofia”, I have a very quiet, but extremely significant role. I work behind the scenes - with cells that are not yet life, but bring so much hope. Every movement under the microscope is with a thought for the people waiting on the other side. I know that behind every case there is someone's dream — and that keeps me focused and committed. Every day I meet people who have gone through a lot of pain and hope and it is their trust that motivates me. I know how important it is to have a person against them who understands them and instills in them confidence that they will succeed.

What is it like to make people's dreams come true?

Creating life — literally — is a feeling that is hard to describe. I see the beginning of life even before it was felt by the mother. It is magic, but also responsibility, because every couple who trusts us puts all their hopes in us. And I do my best to justify them. When you know how much this process means to families who have gone through something, you start putting your heart in, not just the knowledge.

What is the greatest job satisfaction?

The greatest satisfaction is when you realize that it was your hands that helped a long-awaited child to appear in this world. Sometimes you understand it from a short “thank you”, other times from tears in the eyes of parents. These are moments that stay with me forever. And they remind me that I'm doing something really important. When we get a picture of a baby or a thank-you letter, I know I've left a trail.

What distinguishes this work from any other?

This job is different because you are part of something very personal without even being in direct contact with patients. You work with life in its earliest form, and every action matters. It's not a job you can do on autopilot — it requires care, precision and attitude. And that's why she's so special to me. Every story is real, with pain, hope and a happy ending that we all dream of. And every success feels like a personal victory.
