How would you describe your work at Invitro Clinic “Sofia”?

My work here is much more than “just medical care, during short interventions.” This is the point where I meet people's most intimate hopes. At the time of the puncture, the woman is under my responsibility - but I do not only care about her body, but also for her peace of mind. The feeling of being in safe hands. It's not just anesthesia — it's trust in the most vulnerable moment.

What is it like to make people's dreams come true?

Sometimes we joke that our work is “lighter” than that of embryologists or obstetricians. But the truth is that every procedure is the beginning of a new chance. To be a part of this — albeit for a few minutes in silence and sterile surroundings — is a huge responsibility and an honor.

What is the greatest job satisfaction?

The smile after waking up. The question “Did everything go well?” with that timid but hopeful look. And most of all — when I find out that it was this cycle that led to pregnancy. Then I know that I was involved in something much bigger than myself.

What distinguishes this work from any other?

We're dealing with human life here... even before it appeared. There's magic in that. Every couple comes with a story — and we become a part of it. Not just as medics, but as people who empathize, support and help.
