NACE and NACE 24
The NACE and NACE 24 tests are non-invasive prenatal screening tests — completely safe for you and your baby and are recommended for all women who want to make sure that their future baby does not have the most common chromosomal abnormalities.

What are the NACE and NACE 24 tests?
The NACE and NACE 24 tests are non-invasive prenatal screening tests — completely safe for you and your baby. A simple blood draw from the mother allows the detection of free fetal DNA circulating in the mother's bloodstream through next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology and a patented bioinformatics analysis tool. The NACE and NACE 24 tests check for the presence of chromosomal abnormalities in the baby. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes and a total of 46 chromosomes (two copies of each pair). The first 22 pairs are numbered from 1 to 22. The last pair determines our gender. Girls have two X chromosomes, and boys have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. Health and developmental problems arise if there is a missing or extra chromosome.
When there is an extra copy of a chromosome (i.e., three copies, instead of two), this is called “trisomy”.
Quali opzioni sono disponibili?
IS BORN: Detects abnormalities in chromosomes 21, 18, 13 and the most common abnormalities in sex chromosomes (X and Y).
GEBOREN 24: Analyzes the complete set of chromosomes and standard karyotype resolution. It identifies deletions and duplications that are associated with clinically significant genetic syndromes.

What are the main advantages of NACE and NACE 24?
• Painless, non-invasive prenatal screening, without any risk to the fetus;
• NACE detects abnormalities in chromosomes 21, 18, 13, X and U;
• NACE 24 has the same characteristics as NACE, in addition to the NACE information, it tests all chromosomes and detects trisomies in chromosomes 9 and 16 that underlie the presence of miscarriages in the first trimester of pregnancy, as well as identifying six microdeletions associated with the main genetic syndromes (DiGeorge syndrome, Velo-cardio-facial syndrome, 1p36 delition syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Cat's cry syndrome, Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome);
• NACE is applicable for single and multiple pregnancies and NACE 24 only for single pregnancies;
• 99.9% recognition of Down syndrome;
• False-positive score index < 0.1% for Down syndrome;
• Valid in patients with a donor egg;
• Valid for all races, ethnicities and body mass indexes;
• A;
• Includes genetic counseling;
• The result is ready in 15 days;
• Includes confirmation by QF-PCR in case of a positive result and a second blood test at no additional cost in case of uninformative results;
• Significantly lower value compared to other similar diagnostic products.
Should I take the NACE or NACE 24 test?

• A w. They are also recommended when achieving pregnancy in women of advanced reproductive age.
• A test can be performed in any pregnant woman, as well as in pregnancies achieved through in-vitro techniques, including pregnancies from a donor egg.
What kind of result will I get?
A. When the test shows that there is a high risk of a chromosomal abnormality, your doctor will inform you about other tests that can confirm this diagnosis.
How are NACE and NACE 24 performed?
• Consult with our specialist gynecologist;
• A sample of venous blood is taken;
• The sample is sent for examination;
• The result is ready in 15 days.
